As good as surfing is, I am really glad that I discovered many years back that it is NOT the most important thing in life! Surfing is a fantastic way to blow the old cobwebs out of the mind, to exercise, to get a dose of adrenalin, and to socialize with some great people. It can be a fantastic ingredient to a balanced life.
But, thank the Good Lord, it is not what life is about. We are not here on earth just to surf. If you want to find out why we are here on earth, click here. I can remember when I lived for surfing, and getting down to Bells one day and there was no surf, when I really hoped there would be. I really needed a surf that day. I drove off with an empty feeling in my heart. "There must be more to life than this", I thought.
How fortunate I was, many years later, to learn about my purpose in life. To learn what I needed to do on earth, instead of wondering what on earth I was doing here! Let me tell you that I know that God lives! I know that Jesus Christ is my Saviour. I know that the True Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the Earth. This knowledge is freely available to all who will ask.
